The minor in business administration
provides a general overview of the business environment to students in
majors outside of business. The minor in business administration requires
exposure to the major functional areas in business.

Students must be of junior standing before they can apply for the minor in business. It is not available to students in the Warrington College of Business Administration or the Fisher School of Accounting. Application for the minor should be made as early as possible after earning 60 hours, but no later than one semester before graduation.
Admission to the minor is
selective and enrollment is limited. To be considered for admission, students
must have a minimum 2.0 overall grade point average on all UF course work
attempted.
Regardless of other graduation requirements specified by the student’s current college, a 2.0 grade point average on all attempts on all courses for the minor is required for the Warrington College of Business Administration to certify award of the minor. All graduating students who meet this requirement and have been approved for the minor will have the minor listed on their transcript.
