Information for Parents
Welcome...and congratulations. You are the parent of a college student!
Throughout the next four years you may need some guidance from an official university resource. For most questions, that resource is the Office of the University Registrar. It is our job to coordinate many of the academic services provided to current (and former) students. If we don't provide the service, we certainly know who does, and we are happy to provide that information whenever it's needed.
College is a time of transition and growth. Choice and change are routine and help is needed from time to time. It is not always easy to make choices about courses and majors and grades and future careers. And when you add choices for the variety of opportunities outside the classroom, any student — and parent — may need help occasionally.
This site provides the added confidence every parent needs: Good advice, accurate information and reliable university resources. With them you can provide the parental support and encouragement that are critical to your child's success in college.
