Transcripts

What is a Transcript

A transcript is a comprehensive record of an individual's academic progress at the University of Florida. Your name will appear on your transcript as it appears on your university record.

Order a Transcript

You must have an active GatorLink account to order an official transcript. If you have never had a GatorLink account or cannot remember your password, call the UF Computing Help Desk at 352-392-4357 (392-HELP)

If you were born in 1955 or earlier, your record may first need to be moved to our online system. Please contact us to request assistance.

Official University of Florida transcript orders are facilitated by the National Student Clearinghouse. The $10.00 payment for transcripts will be processed through their service. Your transcript will still bear the UF seal and university wordmark, and the transcript content is verified by UF.

You can access your unofficial transcript in the university portal, ONE.UF.edu. We encourage you to review this to ensure all degree and grades are displayed as expected before placing your order for an official transcript.

Status updates on your order will be emailed to you, as well as texted if you select that option. Allow up to ten business days for your request to be fulfilled. While most orders are processed more quickly, delays can sometimes occur. Delivery and processing fees may also apply, depending on the options you select. You are responsible for accurately entering the delivery information.

Due to the automation of this request system, a transcript order cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded once the order has been placed. Carefully review your order before submission.

Apostille of the Hague and/or Notarial Certification

An apostille is a certificate issued by the state that authenticates the signature of a public official (notary) on a document for use in another country. For documents used in countries that are not a part of the Hague Convention, a Notarial Certification will be issued. Additional information for the procedures for notarial or apostille certification can be found on the Florida Department of State’s website and the FAQ page.

Students can initiate this process with the Office of the University Registrar for their (diploma/certificate/transcript) by contacting the Registrar’s office at help@registrar.ufl.edu.

Transcript Costs

Transcripts cost $10.00 each for current students and for former students. Payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover from your personal device (smartphone, laptop, etc.). Payments are nonrefundable.

Military Service

In accordance with F.S. 1009.26 (17a), students who are an active duty member or an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces and their spouse and dependents are eligible for a waiver of the transcript fee.

If proof of military status is not on file with the Office of the Registrar, documentation will be required before the transcript fee will be waived.

To receive the waiver, do NOT submit an order through ONE.UF. Initiate your official transcript order by contacting Student Veteran Services at military-benefits@ufl.edu.
